Custom Finishes

Complete your cabinetry with our custom finishes, tailored to your style. Choose from painted finishes in any color, rich stains, or hardwax oil finishes—each crafted to enhance the natural beauty of the wood while adding a durable, elegant touch to your space

Paint.

Water-based polyurethane. Tinted to any popular brand's known color code.

We typically spray 1-2 coats of primer, and 2-3 coats of top coat. Will add more coats as needed.

Stain.

Water-based stain. Finished with a clear top coat.

Reality is, given how much we like the Rubio Monocoat finishes, we find ourselves doing very little traditional staining these days.

Hardwax Oil.

We standardize on Rubio Monocoat. See RM's 55 colors on White Oak.

We love it for it's consistent application, and it's 0% VOC once fully cured.

Unfinished.

Unfinished cabinets is an option.

Wooden doors are sanded to 180 grit.

MDF surfaces are sanded to 220 grit by default.
